Would you be content with losing your job for misgendering someone?  If you had an eight-year-old daughter, would you be fine with her having to shower next to someone with a penis?  I wish we lived in a society where these things did not affect us, but they do.

Are people losing their jobs just for misgendering someone? Because if you're talking Bill C-16, it would take being a Graham Linehan-level shit about it just for misgendering to have consequences. So, accidentally misgendering someone wouldn't likely cost someone their job. And even then, that's in Canada, and AWTY's based out of America.

When it comes to 8-year-olds showering, while it's been a quarter of a century since I even was an 8-year-old, I don't think communal showers are much of a thing for that age. I could be wrong, but I doubt it. And even if they were, in practice, people with penises invading women's spaces with bad intent while claiming that they belong there because they're trans is very rare. And when they do, they're usually registered sex offenders. Even when that does happen, it's not like Johnny Law's going to tell the nonce "Oh, so you're trans? Then carry on sexually assaulting this 8-year-old girl."

1) Show me how it's possible for you to lose your job for accidentally misgendering someone.

Well, you should contact the US Government and tell them that their, "This is Who We Are" training is in error because it literally says you can lose your job for using the wrong pronouns.  

Isn't it up to the child's parents what naked people they are allowed to be around?  Or do you know better than they do now too?
