Your conscious existence will last forever, your consciousness will always exist in some form or another. Your mind cannot fathom non-existence and so it simply won't happen.

Not sure why you wouldn't want to live another life if you enjoy being alive. Reincarnation is a real thing. God is real too but only the truly simple-minded are going to have any real faith in Him, which is fine for them.”

You’re too simple-minded to know how simple-minded you are.

Fine by me. A life with God is a sweet life indeed.

A life with God is a life walking on eggshells.  First naughty word or impure thought and a trapdoor opens under your feet leading straight to Fire Lake.

It's no different than my atheism, except these Christians think they need supernatural support for their morals and conscience. They don't, but they're too scared to question it.

So they believe. They believe in their god. Note that they don't question their disbelief in any other god. That's because they've been taught to bow and kneel to authority.

it's because their belief is no different than rooting for their favorite team.  "Yay Seahawks boo Niners!"

A life with an imaginary god is delusional, indeed.
Just because you can imagine something, doesn't make it real. What we might "want" is irrelevant.
Making up the Reality we want went out with childhood.
There is no mechanism for reincarnation. When your brain is de-oxygenated and dead, "you" no longer exist.
There is no way to retrieve the millions of connections in the brain.
You have no evidence for anything different. There is abundant evidence that severely brain-injured patients (brain-dead) people,
are dead. Period. There is no mechanism to re-animate dead human brains.

Gnosticism was an early heresy.
You are not a Christian.

I used to say that I wasn't religious enough to call myself an atheist. That has changed as I paid more attention to religion's abuses. Choirboys with XXX rectums? Seriously? The cassock doesn't hide the boner.

I don't see my atheism as a matter of fighting faith. My atheism is a simple statement about my own lack of faith, nothing more, nothing less. What am I banging my head against?

You say this, and then immediately contradict yourself.

Of course it is.  Do as I say and not as I do...the mantra for clergy everywhere.

Prove it.  Dodgy

"There" is a spatial / temporal concept.
God, by definition, is neither.
Try again.
You tell yourself what you need to have.
You have no evidence for your delusion.
