I’ve always loved the first batch. After that, I think Zelazny spent far too much text describing the Pattern walks at the expense of the plot.

If one has ambitions to build their own Pattern it's informative. Ghost is the one that annoyed me in the second round.

I had three of those Amber books when I was growing up, but I do not recall if I ever read them.

I once saw an off-scene clip of The Shining where Jack Nicholson was brushing his teeth, and ever since then I have brushed my teeth the same way.

The stupidest pre-fight flex is when one of the parties bows up and says, ‘I’m from such-and-such!’
