This writer committed suicide in 1987 after surviving the Holocaust. We came to understand that maybe he could not fit in this world anymore with so many people who were simply unable to grasp the scale of the horror these people were subjected to.

If you consider Gulags NOT being crimes against humanity, then you are wrong.period. The fact that German fascism maybe led to the WORST crimes against humanity, does not make all the other crimes lesser ones.
