So the cardiologist continues to push statins. I agreed to take one every other day and he said that's better then not at all. So there we go.
I go in next week for an ultrasound but told him flat out that I will not consent to a stress test. I have the world's worst veins and the no desire to spend half a day at this office or anywhere else for that matter. I had the heart attack about 6 years ago, I think, and have dodged the stress test this long.
He says I need to gain weight so a big wind won't blow me away. I told him there aren't many people my age who can say they weigh what they did when they graduated from high school.
He is stubborn...so am I. We have reached an understanding, I think.
