This and one other site (also atheist in outlook) are the only two that publish banning information. The rest don't see fit to do so. But I do know that most other sites have the same problem, as admins and mods have mentioned it en passant in other discussions.

My brother got all the junk genes from our parents, but he has no problem making money, where as I have had to struggle for all the money I've ever earned, up to and including selling my body. Seems fair, right? Right.....

I would enjoy a clearer explanation of the correlation between genes and monetary success.

We try to be transparent in our actions, especially when it's about bannings.

Most bannings are bots and are selling something and often in Russian.  We list them just like we list members who have posted and run afoul of the rules so that we can show that we aren't just banning people on a whim.

We generally post the name and the reason.
