Roe v. Wade is gone.

Perhaps you're right. Overpopulation is certainly an issue, there's no doubt about it. Cities are getting overcrowded faster than ever these days, services in some places are at stretching point, and crime levels have increased dramatically. It has all become very chaotic in recent years. It was never like that before.

I guess abortion is one option to solve the problem. One could I suppose make the same argument for sterilization. I dunno, what do you think?

Or, that if the government is going to support a pro-life decree, then the rich must be taxed to support each new life that would have been aborted otherwise.

Hear hear. There are a lot of people who are very irresponsible like that. Multiple fathers and welfare seem to be the lifestyle for some.

Or maybe cut welfare to disincentivize irresponsible types from producing kids that they don't want to work to support. I'm not saying wealthy people couldn't pay, it's just that why should they.

The one percent needs to pay simply due to the obscenity within which they live.

I might think some forms of social welfare are absurd, but I'm also a true liberal in knowing that the rich are the real enemy.

The risk is that they may feel as though they're being penalized for being financially successful. I can't see why people can't just be more responsible and only have kids that they can afford to have. Too many single mothers with kids from different fathers, which leads to crime and only serves to perpetuate the stereotypes. It's not that the stereotypes are true it's just that it creates a bad image.

Who suffers less, the rich from having slightly less or the children with stupid parents?

How are you defining suffering?

To an extent I agree, but I'm also of the notion that stupid people who cannot financially support a lifestyle of children should not receive government assistance.

That punishes the child for the mistake of the parents.
