Being told you're delusional does not necessarily mean you're mental.
If lies really had short legs, then priests would have blisters on their ball sack.
teachings of the Bible are so muddled and self-contradictory that it was possible for Christians to happily burn heretics alive for five long centuries. It was even possible for the most venerated patriarchs of the Church, like St. Augustine and St. Thomas Aquinas, to conclude that heretics should be tortured (Augustine) or killed outright (Aquinas). Martin Luther and John Calvin advocated the wholesale murder of heretics, apostates, Jews, and witches. - Sam Harris, "Letter To A Christian Nation"
It's not that I have no respect for you. Rather, it's that I have too much respect for myself.

Where in the hell are people going at 5:30 am? I ran a quick errand to a 24/7 drug store and couldn't believe all the traffic at that ridiculous hour. I was awake and figured I would beat the school zone hell and majority of traffic...boy was I wrong.
And there was a couple jogging, in the road, that I was lucky to see at all since they were both wearing dark clothes....I am not quite sure what's more stupid, getting up to run at about 5 am or doing it in dark clothing.
Got my eyes examined yesterday...they were worse than I thought though the small cataract on one eye hasn't changed in almost two years so that's a plus.
Even with a BOGO sale (?) and having insurance, two pair of new glasses hit me for nearly a thousand dollars. I hope they are good enough to get me through another couple years. On a lighter note, the meds I am taking seem to be helping and I have gone from about 97 pounds to almost 107. Not only that, I feel quite a bit better.
It's too hot outside where I live right now. The squirrels are catching on fire.
