The World's Transition to Renewable Energies

RE: The World's Transition to Renewable Energies
On the residential end, you can put a mat style solar water heater underneath your pv with a thermal bridge to capture the waste heat as yet more energy offset. Large water tanks can also bank that thermal.
I am the Infantry. I am my country’s strength in war, her deterrent in peace. I am the heart of the fight… wherever, whenever. I carry America’s faith and honor against her enemies. I am the Queen of Battle. I am what my country expects me to be, the best trained Soldier in the world. In the race for victory, I am swift, determined, and courageous, armed with a fierce will to win. Never will I fail my country’s trust. Always I fight on…through the foe, to the objective, to triumph overall. If necessary, I will fight to my death. By my steadfast courage, I have won more than 200 years of freedom. I yield not to weakness, to hunger, to cowardice, to fatigue, to superior odds, For I am mentally tough, physically strong, and morally straight. I forsake not, my country, my mission, my comrades, my sacred duty. I am relentless. I am always there, now and forever. I AM THE INFANTRY! FOLLOW ME!

Very bad news
A doubling of the amount of CO2 in the atmosphere could cause an increase in the average temperature on Earth from 7 to a maximum of 14 degrees C.

Much larger than the 2.3 to 4.5 degrees C that the UN climate panel, IPCC, had estimated

teachings of the Bible are so muddled and self-contradictory that it was possible for Christians to happily burn heretics alive for five long centuries. It was even possible for the most venerated patriarchs of the Church, like St. Augustine and St. Thomas Aquinas, to conclude that heretics should be tortured (Augustine) or killed outright (Aquinas). Martin Luther and John Calvin advocated the wholesale murder of heretics, apostates, Jews, and witches. - Sam Harris, "Letter To A Christian Nation"

The Japanese military has developed hydrogen powered tanks. These are less noisy (a huge asset if you ask me). Their engines have a better overall performance. The newer tanks are more maneuverable than diesel-engine tanks and 21st century Hydrogen powered tanks will be easier to refuel then the tanks running on conventional fuels.

- Probably not as quickly as we think. Mystic persons say that the Earth has its own field of consciousness. Therefore is the Earth decided it’s time for us to go, this could happen very quickly. And wouldn’t even have to be a violent process. If for instance, most of the male individuals were to suddenly lose their ability to reproduce, we would certainly be eradicated with a few decades or so.

So what is most likely going to happen is a shift in attitudes. Science will also probably come to our rescue as well.

In the UK they just made something called a diamond nuclear battery. It’s a source of clean energy based on Carbon 14 isotopes that is far less dangerous than a typical nuclear plant that keeps producing energy for 5000 years or so. Technologies like this will end not only fossil fuels but old type of nuclear plants as well. There may even be no need for the newer fusion-powered nuclear plants either:

An absurd and absurdly dangerous belief.

“Why does God need a spaceship?”
- Yes Smile

Personally I like the idea of not being alone. + If the planet is a conscious- living organism, it means that we won’t be Chicsulup asteroid of this planet. It means that we are like little children on this planet (and the way we are behaving points to the fact that that’s exactly what we are) and that there is a safety net. The planetary consciousness will be able to stop us if it thinks we are going too far.

And this is not really a “convenient belief” of some sort. Science is telling us that there will be consequences for our actions (and inactions). So taking action is still better than laying back on our couches and waiting for the planet to take its course of action. Smile

If my grandma had wheels, she would have been a bike! Do you have any good reason to believe a planet is a conscious- living organism?....other than liking "the idea of not being alone"? Because thats a quite bad reason.

Strange you mention chicxulub. The planet didn't stop that. We've already gone too far and the planet did not stop us either. There has never been any safety net other than the ones we manufacture. You're just imagining yourself another god Leo.
