So far as I can tell, none of this nonsense has surfaced at my employer, despite being a federal contractor.

I guess I am lucky that my boss is very liberal in her hiring practices. Gay, straight, white, brown...and everything in between don't matter to her if you can do that job you were hired for.

I do make sure not to enter things like "binary" when gender is asked for in our payroll program. Were it to ever be hacked into, I want nothing there to be used against us. We also do not track ethnicity.

My place is very progressive as well. The instructions were for our government filings (FDA in my case). Bossman suspects that they're using AI to screen for "bad" words.
