Gaza Faces History by Enzo Traverso.
The first revolt is against the supreme tyranny of theology, of the phantom of God. As long as we have a master in heaven, we will be slaves on earth.

I read Martin Rees' Just Six Numbers a few days ago. For obvious reasons.

Just finished "Primative Quakerism Revived" by Paul Buckley. It is a very interesting peek into a unique community.

It's been many years since I read "The Silence of the Lambs" so the movie version has taken its place in my mind as the way the story goes. Yesterday I started listening to the Audiobook...quite different than the movie in a lot of ways. Enjoying it so far.

I have been struggling to find books that I think I will like. I listened to a John Grisham book over the last couple weeks (I have never read him before, but it had been suggested by a couple family members). I was under-impressed but decided that maybe I picked the wrong book. So I started another of his and it had better grab my attention soon. As it stands, I don't think he, or his genre, is the thing for me.
Before I drive to and from SC I need to find something to listen to.
