Currently playing a mobile game called "Slice & Dice", a turn based, dice rolling, dungeons and dragonsy kind of game that I think is really good. I'm just having a kind of break from console/computer gaming and trying out mobile gaming, but finding decent mobile games is a lot harder I'm finding. I've never really played this sort of Slice & Dice game before, or at least never stuck with them long cos they always seem so complicated with all their combat, spells, healers etc... but this is really good and really clear and one that chatgpt recommended to me when I was asking for recommendations of mobile games that were honest with their pricing (sadly not many seem to fit into that category, and many game ads just blatantly lie... they say it has no ads and then it has ads, they say it has no timers and then it has timers etc) and not based on dexterity or time pressure. This game ticks all those boxes very nicely... you can really and deeply trial a lot of the game for free and with no ads, before deciding whether you want to pay a one off, small price (about £8.50), to unlock the whole game... and there's no time pressure at all, making it very relaxing to play. So highly recommend this one

I continue to lose at eve online by playing, until someone finally comes out with a better full loss mmo industrial sim set in space. It's not like it would be hard...the game is older than most gamers...

I'm not quite sure what you mean (as usual, sorry about that  ) but if you're looking for a multiplayer space based sim with all sorts of things, combat, flying, farming, exploration, and industrial stuff in the form of mining and stuff and building stuff... like for instance searching through planets for a particular resource you need and then building a mine on it, in the form of extractors, when you've zeroed in on the best place to set it up, including, ideally with a power source nearby that you can also mine for infinite power to power that mine, rather than rely on less reliable power sources like solar panels and batteries, which is fun in it's own right, but it's definitely better when you can set up an infinitely powered mine in a game. Anyway, the game I'm talking about is "No Man's Sky", which is also incredibly well updated, and to my knowledge continues to be frequently updated... an awesome game that's well loved by it's developers and constantly growing... I'd hugely recommend it, as it sounds like it might meet all your needs too

I personally haven't played it for a long time, but not because I lost any love for it... I still really miss it, but rather because I don't think (though may be wrong) it works too well in Steam on Linux... it worked fine on Windows but I no longer use Windows, only Linux. The only other option would be to downgrade so to speak by playing it on consoles, where I first played it, but playing on PC was far more powerful and really worth the upgrade... so I don't know, maybe I'll try it again on a console for old time's sake, or try to figure out how to get it reliably working on Linux.

Also there is the game "Elite Dangerous", mentioned earlier in this thread. I never personally got hugely into it that much but IIRC it's like a more detailed but also more narrow version of No Man's Sky. So if you really want to get deeper into the simulation side of the game, like flying the spacecrafts in a really detailed kind of way etc, then that might be more your thing, but for me I much prefer the massive variety and scope of No Man's Sky.

Yes. It's supposed to have the best armor set.

I've got a long way to go in Odyssey, Valhalla, Origins, and Shadow. I lean toward Shadow first because of the Asian theme.
