Are religious people suffering from a psychological disorder of delusion and hallucination?? Maybe a global case of schizoprenia? I think their deep faith in the existence of god, satan, or any other fairies is quite delusional, false belief. Some claimed god speaks to them and instruct them what to do. Many kills in the name of their imaginary friends. Sounds like psychological disorder, like delusional schizoprenia.

Oh come on now that's not strictly fair. Having an imaginary friend is not a disorder.

It isn't a mental disorder though some theists suffer from temporal lobe epilepsy. But their belief in an imaginary friend is delusional Drummer Guy.

Ha, I thought about that film when I posted the above. The Imaginary Friend Syndrome. Mayall is a legend.
I think it makes good sense viewed as a genetic condition.

They don't have the strength of heart or mind to exist in the modern world as it is today. If not for religion I imagine allot of theist would have commited suicide. They need the idea of god in order to simply exist or they would become self destructive. Pity them because they are not as strong as us when it comes to accepting the truth and to be honest we should be helping them stick to their religion. We must continue to check under their bed's and tell them the boogy man isn't there untill they finaly grow up and accept there is no boogy man.
If we could prove god didn't exist, theist would literally have a mental breakdown and probobly become explosively unstable.
Live every day as if already dead, that way you're not disappointed when you are.

Are you saying theists are mentally stable because they believe god exists? Are you listening to yourself? Theists have, by definition, a mental breakdown or they wouldn't be theists. Theists are, by definition, mentally unstable. |
