Dont do it.
Tatoos only look god on the summerqueen. You can fix ignorance, you can't fix stupid. Tinkety Tonk and down with the Nazis. You should get it in Hebrew, it would be funnier that way. Then when you have that awkward conversation, and it WILL be awkward, about what those squiggles on your ankle are; they might get a forced chuckle from the fact that you chose Hebrew, the language of the Jews, to permanently affix the word Atheist to your body. While you are at it you should get another tatoo in cyrilic about how you don't collect stamps, perhaps a whole backpiece devoted to your lack of belief in unicorns.

ἄθεος or ἀσεβής http://translate.google.com/#auto|el|Atheist Atheist = αθεϊστής Pronounced "Ah-thee-stees"
If you're going to get a tattoo with your beliefs, be a bit more subtle and get something like, 'slave to no one'
You do understand that our stupider xtians think that 'jesus' spoke English with a southern drawl, right?

Boy,are THEY gonna feel silly when they meet him! It was clearly established by the British in the nineteenth century that Jesus is English, and speaks like an Oxford Don reading the King James Bible aloud. I wish getting my tattoo was the most stupid choice I ever made, but sadly,it's not on the same planet. |
