Check your math. When last I looked, there weren't 4.54 liters in a US gallon.

Currently: Standard unleaded $AU1.31 a litre,it varies day-by- day,up to $1.49 a litre. There is a fake discount war here. (over $1.50 well outside of cities)

I'm using our old imperial measurements: 1 litre=2. 2 pints, 8 pints=1 gallon.

Aeroplane? Petrol? OK, this forum needs some serious de-Britishizing. Tongue
"Sisters, you know only the north; I have traveled in the south lands. There are churches there, believe me, that cut their children too, as the people of Bolvangar did--not in the same way, but just as horribly. They cut their sexual organs, yes, both boys and girls; they cut them with knives so that they shan't feel. That is what the Church does, and every church is the same: control, destroy, obliterate every good feeling. So if a war comes, and the Church is on one side of it, we must be on the other, no matter what strange allies we find ourselves bound to."

Indeed. I'd far prefer to at least try to educate the Americans. With patience we might even teach them to spell. I mean, "liter"?
