Christianity and the 10 Commandments

You brought that up yourself.

So what is your alternative explanation for why the universe is expanding?
Remembering that the BBT has made testable predictions that proved correct.

It doesn't have one. For that matter, it doesn't even have a coherent thought. I wonder if it's parents mourned their stillborn child?

I'm reminded of the kind of jokes we used to make when I was at school, such as "they threw away the baby and kept the afterbirth", or "when he was born they slapped his mother instead". However I would not presume to make such remarks now I'm more mature.
At the age of five, Skagra decided emphatically that God did not exist.  This revelation tends to make most people in the universe who have it react in one of two ways - with relief or with despair.  Only Skagra responded to it by thinking, 'Wait a second.  That means there's a situation vacant.'

Who made a joke?

First, saying that everything was once together is not explaining why it's expanding. That we don't know. We don't know why it's expanding but we know it is just like we don't know why matter has gravity but we know it does. Second what predictions? That hydrogen is the most abundant element? Sorry, we knew that before the BBT.
Oh! thus be it ever, when freemen shall stand
Between their loved home and the war's desolation!
Blest with victory and peace, may the heav'n rescued land
Praise the Power that hath made and preserved us a nation.
Then conquer we must, when our cause it is just,
And this be our motto: "In God is our trust."
And the star-spangled banner in triumph shall wave
O'er the land of the free and the home of the brave!

See Zen, go ahead and clap one hand if you really want to but just realize that it's an exercise in futility.

Radio Telescope Proves A Big Bang Prediction

Someone really needs to keep up.

This is nothing I haven't already heard but seriously? Your best evidence is faint radiation around the universe? Come on.

See Stimbo, if the stillborn idiot knew what the CMBR was it wouldn't make such an idiotic statement so why are you bothering? Reason, logic or science didn't make him a Christian and it isn't gonna make him not a Christian or even understand anything pertaining to the universe.

Are you saying that is undeniable evidence? Absolute proof that the big bang happened? If you know about it and claim this then you are being dishonest.
