Yeah, he's right on that account. Cos the religious thinking dark ages were great economically and top notch for progression........

Rowan williams warns of downgrading of religious education.

I guess I'm not convinced about Rowan. Quote:"He said that for Christians a vision of reconciled love between people "is there only because God raised Jesus" and that the answer was not in scientific proof, but by the way believers lived with and in their faith." So the guy is just a fucking lunatic, then. (April 8, 2012 at 1:23 pm)tobie Wrote: He has also subscribed to the idea that "religious thinking" will improve the economy. I just can't get past his eyebrows.
You are currently experiencing a lucky and very brief window of awareness, sandwiched in between two periods of timeless and utter nothingness. So why not make the most of it, and stop wasting your life away trying to convince other people that there is something else? The reality is obvious.

It depends where the school is different counties and schools have different policies on it. When I was in school I took RS GCSE and still had to do the extra lessons of RE because the policy was all students have to do RE.. Even the ones doing RS... Also sometimes they put it under another name or mix it with a subject in like 'Personal learning' 'Citizenship' or whatever other misleading name they give it.
