No one said they were going to be murdered, I actually thought of an accident happening to them.

What "accidental" event would have you be informed of the faith of 104 people involved? The only way to ensure the numbers are correct is to research those people being threatened, which makes this a deliberate act. Which points to premeditated murder. Not an accident.

How many atheists is worth the life of 1 Christian was more of what I was going for.

Again it depends on the person or people.

Would you save 100 Hitlers to everyone one Christian? What about 1000: 1? 1,000,000: 1? Are you willing to commit geneocide against an entire race of people who all thought and acted as Hitler did? to save one Christian?

Before you try and justify the numbers just look at what one hitler was able to do.

TO CLARIFY EVERYTHING!

This is all hypothetical. Please, just let everything be. Do not question anything. (you xtians should be good at that part)

There is a bus that has an observable and prominent sign that clarifies they are an atheist group. There are exactly 100 people on that bus; all atheist.

That very bus gets stuck on a railroad track. The door's mechanics fail, and cannot open, and all the emergency exists are sealed shut, without any way of opening. There is no escape from this bus without an outside force acting upon it.

Now, there is a van with a family of 4 inside. On all of the windows, there are Christianity symbols, one of which clarifies that the family are all Christians.

That same van gets stuck on the same railroad track, right next to the bus. The van shuts down, and all the electronic locks are malfunctioning and there is no way to escape.

Now, you happen to be riding along the tracks in your truck and notice both the bus and the van stuck on the tracks.

As you notice this, you hear and can see a train in the near distance coming, speeding down the tracks.

You have only enough time to use your winch and set free one vehicle. The bus or the van.

DOES THIS HELP?

Would you pull the bus out of the tracks or would you pull the van out of the tracks, knowing that exactly 100 atheists were in the bus and exactly 4 Christians were in the van.

Would you pull neither, and watch them all get smashed by the train, KNOWING you could successfully save lives.

Please, let us know your stance on this. Devil

Himmler was a professed christian, Hitler was born into christianity, but stopped participating in it after childhood.

As most busses can only seat 60, a bus with 100 people in it is either going to be too big to move with my truck or too heavy. The best thing then would be break the windows on the van and get the christians to help break into the bus and off load it.

For the time it takes to hook up and winch a one of the vehicles off the tracks the 4 could be saved right away and if all 5 people were to create a exit point on this super bus, most of them would saved as well.

Faith does not play apart in this scenario. What should be considered is saving those who you know you can save and getting them to help save everyone else lest everyone dies if you try and save the big prize.

OH YOUR FUCKING GOD... Just answer the question how I told you.

It's hypothetical situation. Just shows how dumb some theists can be.

I would save the most easily saveable and work my way back from there.

Hopefully, the christians would be last ...LOL ..... just kidding people! I'm sure I'd even risk my own life to save that idiot, Drich. It's just who I am.

It's a question of morality and how do we value the life of humans, those like us and those not like us.

If you say or do nothing, then those who kill the 4 or 100 are the murders. So the only honorable answer is to "not play" this sick game.

Truthfully are you so deceived by simple wording you do not see your willing participation in the murder of a family of four or 100 random people?

I have to say your being a human wrong.. The only way you would kill anyone would be not to participate.. You would be the guy that sits and watches a toddler get hit by a car because you didn't want to take part in case it goes wrong..

RE: Christians: Saving the Damned?
Am I allowed to turn my truck onto the tracks and race toward the oncoming train, sacrificing my life to save all 104 people?

If so, then... great!

Otherwise... given the elaboration you later provided, I would probably save the family in the van, not because they're Christians but because my winch could haul a van with four people in it but not a school bus with 100 people in it. I wish you had've arranged a different scenario, because until I saw the elaboration my first response to your original post was to save the 100 over the 4; like padraic, their beliefs are irrelevant to me.

Big Grin
I did. I summerized the situation, saved who I could the esaiest first, and made the effort to save the rest.

Faith has nothing to do with your situation. It is a simple matter of numbers/logic.
