dtango, while it is not expressly against the rules to post things you have posted elsewhere, it is discouraged, as this forum is discussion based.
My dear foul-language lady,
this is an atheist’s forum
Thank you Captain Obvious. Shell is an Administrator here. I think by now she's figured that out.
Quote:and I have been posting an article derived from a theory that aims to prove that there is a very good chance that the whole issue of the immaterial gods is just a plain tragicomic joke.
That fact has no bearing on Shell B's post. We don't care if it's Darwin's lost personal fucking diaries. This is a discussion forum not a clearing house for you to post your sloppy seconds on. All this is is a narcissists attempt to gain more notoriety on the web. To give you an idea of how stupid what you're doing is - I'll just go copy and paste the responses on the other site into this thread. That way NONE of us are actually coming up with any new ideas.

If someone, who comes into this forum for the first time, happens to read my post will find it either interesting or boring but not disgusting.
Your moderator’s remark “Holy fucking shit balls” he may find disgusting and loose interest in the atheists’ views.
The only problem I have with atheists is that I believe they are no better than theists.
You may delete my posts and ban me but you have no right to give me that “Holy fucking shit balls” and to expect me to take it from a moderator and shut up like a good obedient Christian.
Or maybe you are promoting moderators' worship?

You probably should have summarised your point before pasting articles one by one. It discourages debate because there is too much to address.
You need to edit your argument down, keep some back to support your view, and then engage.
Nobody was kidding with tl;dr, because nothing engaged the reader in the first place as to the point of the post.. I got halfway through your first post and I still didn't know what point you were trying to make.

If you read halfway through the first post and you did not object to what you read about Shepherd gods and god’s estates, it means that you find nothing strange about it. Then there come the Bull gods raping the women of mankind to produce slaves and you still find nothing strange!!
Anyway, the point I try to make is that myths are echoes of past events because the story they relate is too complicated, too realistic and comes from so many different cultures that cannot be considered fiction.
People react negatively to this theory and thus citation of passages from the texts have to be provided but then the posts become boring.
Neither theists nor atheists are willing to consider the possibility that mankind (the hybrid god/men or Homo sapiens sapiens/Neanderthal) were “created” by the gods through forced interbreeding because theists loose their God and atheists have to admit creation as regards anthropogony.

Not with my signature though.
To free the child’s mind of superstition one has to tell a story and to tell a story words are needed. If atheists do not like to read, it is not my fault.

Good English includes the ability to summarise and then expand upon individual points, rather than starting with the expansion and expecting comments in response.
This isn't an exchange of essays, but a forum, and good English takes into account the medium in use.

Maybe you should re-examine the fault, because I'm sure the point is interesting, but it must engage the reader.
If you can't engage your audience, then I'm afraid it is very much your fault. We wouldn't be here if we didn't have an interest in these things, so a little reflection wouldn't go amiss rather than mildly offensive suggestions that we do not like to read, which is demonstrably false.

I got what you were saying, but it would have been a lot easier had you introduced the idea in the first place. I don't like having to read long passages o text, over and over, to determine the author's intention. When we seek an idea, we go there with at least a basic understanding of what we are going to find. You brought the idea to us, so in my eyes, the onus is on you to make the introductions.

We will not ban you but I personally would love to delete your posts (lucky you, I have rules to follow too). I find the copy and paste nature of your posting repellent. What you're actually doing now is far more appreciated. Don't get me wrong, I think this point you have is ludicrous, but you are engaged in conversation and not giving the forum some worn out rhetoric that you simply pulled off of another site. You're very welcome to remain here and disagree with moderators all day. I assure you, you cannot be banned for disagreeing with me or our new administrator Shell B.
As for your issue with "holy fucking shit balls, -- I thought it was just plain funny. Like, Robin saying something cheesy like, "holy forum-fingers Batman, that was a lot of text!"
If you have an issue with expletives, this is definitely not the site for you. We like to fuckin swear here.

That is utterly ridiculous. You might as well say that atheists don't like to drive cars. It's an absurd pigeon hole of everyone here.
And by the way, not everyone here is an atheist.
