How it can be beneficial since being conscious does not change anything to the laws of universe
i mean, we could be same the same people doing the same thing but being unconscious since its not us which direct our lives but the laws of the universe

either or, conscious or unconscious?

Stop, learn something before you go around shooting your ignorant mouth off, I might suggest some grammar. But learning anything would be a step in the right direction.

You might want to define what you mean by consciousness.

wikipedia says it well:
Consciousness is the quality or state of being aware of an external object or something within oneself
furthermore i would suggest atheists to read more about this subject http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hard_proble...sciousness
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Qualia
I dont see how an atheist can face those questions

I don't see how believing in a deity would answer those questions either.

Why don't you go ask a dog or an octopus. They are too aware of external objects and themselves, but I don't see you pestering them Tongue
When I was young, there was a god with infinite power protecting me. Is there anyone else who felt that way? And was sure about it? but the first time I fell in love, I was thrown down - or maybe I broke free - and I bade farewell to God and became human. Now I don't have God's protection, and I walk on the ground without wings, but I don't regret this hardship. I want to live as a person. -Arina Tanemura

What makes you think we haven't?

Easily. "We don't know" is a perfectly acceptable answer to an unanswered question.

I know about him, basically he says that life is absurd isnt he?
my question is why are we conscious it doesnt seems to add anything?
if you believe in god you are conscious because you have a soul and choose freely how to react to the environment , but then if we just obey to the laws of our universe and are being fooled that it is our own choice, whats point? why not being unconscious ? we will do the same job for nature and our genes with eating, having sex etc..
