No proof of god; Therefore it's existence is "untrue".
You make people miserable and there's nothing they can do about it, just like god.

Science is like a blabbermouth who ruins a movie by telling you how it ends. There are some things we don't want to know. Important things.

And he goes and makes another useless topic.

For example, it has never been proven that 1 = 1.
Mathematicians start with that as an assumption because without it, all other mathematics is impossible.
But it has never been proven that 1 = 1.
Mathematics are arbitrarily defined, and then related to the real world via arbitrarily defined measurements. 1=1 is proof of itself. Let's say proof is 'beyond a reasonable doubt'. Also, we can assume that based on a lack of evidence something is untrue. Or would you prefer guilty until proven innocent? No, I have it on good authority from my father the mathematician that 1 = 1 is unproven and unprovable. This statement does not "prove itself."

Einstein wasn't a theist, so by your 'logic' the most rational stance is of the atheist, not your dad's Roman Catholic belief.

And your father told you this? Funny how you bitched that everything was a fallacy from authority earlier.

...do you know basic math? Math is a system of measurement defined by humans. Thus 1=1, because 1 is defined as 1. How can 1=/=1?

Mathematics is defined by humans?
Wow, the ignorance of this statement is astounding.
I thought you atheists claimed to be logical thinkers and scientists.
But you think that mathematics is something subjectively defined by humans?
Wow.
I mean, wow.

What's the difference between ayard and a meter and how do we define that? How long is an inch? Why does + mean add? Why does 1 look like that rather than like this ~? We arbitrarily defined all of those things. Why do you think that someone could 'invent' calculus?
