Religion is an attempt to answer the philosophical questions of the unphilosophical man.

Pretty much since you tried to derail it with your bible bullshit.
Surely you can remember back just a few days....

You really think they just started a civilization on their own? The best theory is they just did what the Klingons did.
Sorry, but not sure the Bible concerns itself that much with Ancient Egyptian history but if you want to attribute that to the Bible, then it would fit with a lot of your asinine assumptions.
But if we walk in the light, as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus, His Son, purifies us from all sin.

It never fails. Point out how a Christian is wrong, they completely ignore it and resort to petty, wispish insults.
Fuck, at least I have the balls to admit when I've been proven wrong and the fortitude of said testicles to apologize for any wrong that may have come from it. Where is the supposed Christian humility? I swear it's as big of a myth as their god.

Absolutely not. They were Canaanites, complete with their own pantheon of gods, language, pottery, agricultural technology suitable to the arid hill country where they coalesced, and a tradition as pastoralists which to me indicates a fusion of various groups.
What they were not were "slaves" in Egypt.
The key to the Levant lays with the Sea People...not yahweh.

The Sea People origin, though advocated by a professor of mine, has the least amount of evidence of any of the theories to corroborate.
Of course they were Canaanites, even according to the Bible.

The Sea People took out Mycenean Greece, Crete, Cyprus, probably "Troy" ( or whatever the locals called it) the Hittites, Ugarit, and despite the bullshit claims of Ramesses III they damn near took out Egypt and did end 4 centuries of Egyptian domination of Canaan.
They were real enough. Far more real than your "Israelites."

I stated "theories" implying the theory that the Israelite nation arose from the Sea Peoples.
You really do this sort of thing a lot more than you should.

I have a theory that Mycenaean Greeks were a major component of the sea peoples, there are a lot of similarities between the material culture of the Philistines in Canaan and Mycenaean Greece. Although they did assimilate into the surrounding Canaanite culture to a high degree.

I never said anything about the "Israelites" arising from the Sea Peoples. The idea is silly. We know where the groups which later became the "Israelites" arose and it was about as far from the sea as one could get and remain in "Palestine."
We also know they weren't slaves in Egypt since you seem to keep forgetting what you started.
