Romney as president would be vastly worse, I agree. Obama however, will be the same, or worse if he continues his campaign against basic civil rights. This is why I support third party candidates. Hey Tiberius, how do you feel about Jill Stein and Gary Johnson?

If I were eligible to vote, I would vote for Gary Johnson (assuming Ron Paul wasn't on a ticket anywhere). I identify as a Libertarian politically, and I agree with most of the policies set out by the Libertarian party, and all of the most important ones (such as those involving civil liberties).

He extended the Patriot act, increased the amount of warrantless spying, signed the National Defense Authorization Act, which permits the government to hold suspects of terrorism indefinitely without trial (even if they are American), and operates a secret kill list.
But that's ok, because at least he closed Guantanamo right? Oh...yeah.
You already got Bush on steroids; he just happened to be a Democrat. calm down he's more like Bush Lite
He signed those provisions under immense pressure from the right. FOX hasn't shutup for the past 2 weeks 24/7 about the Libya "incident" something I actually posted about, in this website, when mitt said it was another example of obama being bad (or some bullshit) the day it happened. http://atheistforums.org/thread-14769.html
So, now where talking about whether OBAMA politicized it? (well that's not what their talking about but at this point FOX should just start caling Obama an alien from Mars they'd get the same amount of viewers) but, what do think would happen if he moved all of guantanomo into the united states?
Anyway, he said those provisions can't be applied by his office, and it's been shown in court it can't be used on american citizens. Republicans were happy with this compromise because they can still re-enact it when they get elected, and democrats were happy because it meant Obama would not use them while he's in office, it might be political trickery, but it was a comprise that saw alot of debate, so if you know of any recent occurences of unwarranted wiretapping please report it as soon as possible

That's your thinking part. Pay attention to it.
Well, it's more of a question of long term gains that come from getting the Republican party to go back to being a sane party or the sort term gain of keeping the Democrats in office. When you're a poor, queer student, you have nothing to gain from Republicans being in charge.

Especially when the GOP seems to be involved with widespread election fraud. Anyone here have the statistics chops to verify this?

I did my absentee ballot, but I need to find a stamp so that I might mail it off.

You may want to use two stamps. I had a handwritten note in my absentee ballot that said "return postage 65 cents". I can see why, the damn ballot is like a book this year.
