Well, it wasn't the most itelligent responce. Infact, adolescent narcissism comes to mind.

I could go along with the adolescent, but how do you see the narcissism in that statement?

narcissism:
nar⋅cis⋅sism /ˈnɑrsəˌsɪzɛm/ Show Spelled Pronunciation [nahr-suh-siz-em] Show IPA –noun 1. inordinate fascination with oneself; excessive self-love; vanity. 2. Psychoanalysis. erotic gratification derived from admiration of one's own physical or mental attributes, being a normal condition at the infantile level of personality development. Also, nar⋅cism /ˈnɑrsɪzəm/ Show Spelled Pronunciation [nahr-siz-uhm] Show IPA . As the statement is written in a humorous manner, one could assume that the person thinks the question needs not a serious answer. This makes me believe that they already think they are beyond the debate, and therefore must have a fascination with ones self. If they did not, they would participate in civil debate.
That is just your subjective perception. Show me where Bozo's response displays narcissistic traits.

One can not prove what you ask. Show me where my 'original' post diplayed these traits. Why didn't you pick up on that one?

Wow, at my age ( 59 ) I'll take adolescent as a compliment! Not sure about the other though. Actually, both responses indicate a sort of disdain for the centre ground of politics. The problem in the UK particularly is that the three major parties are all occupying the centre. No choice for the electorate, hence diminishing turnouts at general elections. ![]() (April 19, 2009 at 11:06 am)g-mark Wrote: One can not prove what you ask. What's more, it seems to me you were just using a label without even bothering to see if it fits. (April 19, 2009 at 11:06 am)g-mark Wrote: What is a Pastafarian? Nice, I though so.
I felt it was better to use thier own words, as trouble is usually created when I use my own judgements.
Was I the only one who thought that this thread was about which side your dong hangs?

Personally, it's not God I dislike, it's his fan club I can't stand.
I'm not sure...I really like both parties, they have good things to say and both of our last two precedents have belung to both of them
