I dont know if you are simply a victim of the voyeuristic tabloid culture - which seems to have no moral constraints on what they can publish.
Or if you really just resemble a literal character from a soviet novel depicting those who euphoricaly proclaim "the end of the privat life!" such as Pawel Antipov.
How would you feel if I simply publish a plan of your house, details about your sexlife, details of your privat transactions - simply because I "found" them.
I am first off disgusted by this subject because the medical condition of an individual is that individuals buisness and not in public interest. And if that information should ever be published - then it should be with her concent.
I am disapointed that the recent phone hacking scandel didn`t bring an end to the disgusting tabloid culture of simply publishing any kind of privat information, no matter how it was accessed.
A individual has a right to privacy!!!

Morality and legality are two different things Germans.

Indeed, but you can't put an absolute lock on information - or do you want to live in a fascist society?

Anyone with enough decency would have known that this was a horrible idea for a prank. They shouldn’t be charged with any criminal offenses; however, people do have the right to be outraged.

exactly. Because that information is private, and no matter how it could be aquired it shouldn`t be published.

They are, but I dont see how you make the connection here?
The publication of private information without the concent of the affected individuals is illegal. that is a fact.

Godwin!
Only because I want a word in determining who can have an insight into my medical record this does not mean that I am a fashist.
Libertees have their limits. I do not have the liberty to publish private information of Individuals without their concent.
Especialy not information which could be damaging to their image or health.

The Leveson Inquiry concluded that there should be an independent regulator of the press. It did not enact one, nor does it have the power to enact one.
Even if it did, a UK regulator of the press can only affect press working in the UK. It cannot stop, nor can it charge two Australian DJs.
As Shell said, this is an international matter. You can't apply UK laws to Australia. The DJs will be held accountable under Australian and International law only.

No.it.isn't. Scientology does it all the time, so do others. It isn't blanket illegal my friend, only specific situations are illegal, the average joe finding medical documents and publishing them is.not.illegal.

Let me explain this concept to you again: information is free, you can not lock it. There are protections in place, yes, but at the end of the day information is free - if you come into that information legally, you can publish the information, doesn't matter what it is.

I hardly give a shit but not everyone is the same. People live for their television. Everything they see or hear on the news is true in their minds.

I see that no one is persecuting the nurse that ACTUALLY gave out the information regarding the well being of Kate Middleton.
Oh no...... stupid UK public are focused on the poor woman who died, who put the call through to the ward.
