The logical consequences of omnipotence

The irreligious answer to injustice is the chopping off of hands/ tit for tat vigilante type justice. There is no real justification I can see in a secular court for forgiveness. I can see that falling apart as society loses its religion. It is unsustainable. Thoughts?

Yeah. I have some thoughts.

Your concept of forgiveness (I quess by victims) is absent in my western justice court system. That sort of stockholm syndrome behaviour is irrelevant for the punishment. Civilized countries have a secular justice system, no cutting hands of there.

I've never really felt under the threat of law. Besides a once or twice when I was a kid. Mostly because of what people did on my completely messed up street...

I sometimes think the same way. I never really did anything bad. Sometimes I wonder how awesome I would be as a bad guy.

Sins and laws arent even close to the same thing. I'm just not really into the things that end in me breaking the law. I tend to stay in and play games and drink energy drinks. Its hard to break the law doing that.

When not on a job: I'm sloth.

How do you do? Smile
Please give me a home where cloud buffalo roam
Where the dear and the strangers can play
Where sometimes is heard a discouraging word
But the skies are not stormy all day

Yeah my list looks a lot like this:

Lust, Gluttony, Greed, Sloth, Wrath, Envy, Pride

I have all of them

It just depends what mood I'm in which ones you get.
