Well for example, do they take you seriously for your dietary choices, even if they didn't at first?

Well, I became vegan for my own sake, not anyone else's- so if they don't see it as a healthy diet, and disagree with the World Health Organisation and professional athletes that eat vegan, then that's simply their problem.

Do you really believe that? Mcdonalds sponsor perhaps, I don't what's going on there. Both Usain Bolt and Yohan Blake have came out and said they eat a diet mostly of carribean fruits/vegetables, 15 bananas a day, mangos, yams, etc.

Try running 100m, before you run, eat half a chicken breast.

Next race, eat 10 bananas before running.

See what results you get.

I predict a small puddle of mushy banana vomit.

If I eat a whole lot of anything just before running the mess is inevitable.

Well, that's probably because you have not stretched your stomach out enough. When you eat mass amounts of food, it strengthens your stomach and digestion to be able to consume more energy. In reality, before a race you are supposed to eat a small mass of food for obvious reasons, but out of training- eat like a truck.

But seriously, try it out- do any exercise, and before the exercise eat however many calories from bananas you want, then try the same exercise with however many calories from chicken as you had from bananas- and see the results.

I'd rather just eat what I want when I feel like it. Sometimes I like to not eat, sometimes I like to eat a whole large pizza. I'm healthy enough.

Well, I used to be a pro gamer- so by me being better at games than you, shouldn't you listen to what I have to say?

Yeah, I guess it's pretty easy to have that kind of outlook when you do something for health reasons (I'm guessing that's your reason).

I became a vegetarian for the animals. People can tell me all they want about where I can find meat from animals that were raised humanely, the ONLY thing that matters to me is that it, as they say, had a face.
Because of my reasons for making such a choice, my folks had a tough time taking me seriously at first, especially since I was only 16 at the time (I'm 20 now). They saw it as "just a phase" and constantly mocked me, and that angered me to no end. All I wanted was for them to take me seriously. But then again, when was the last time anyone took a 16-year-old girl seriously for any reason whatsoever?
These days, they do still mock me, but I've stopped caring.
Don’t ask.

I used to be the goddess of bountiful vegetation, so by me being more against the slaughter of helpless animals than you, shouldn't you listen to what I have to say?
