Your gaming achievements

RE: Your gaming achievements
I beat Luigi's mansion Dark moon recently. THat was fun. Also I'm still terrible at modern warfare 3 even though I'm level 80. I feel that's a pretty decent achievement, kinda peeved I don't get a trophy for it though.

I don't see the point lol. None of the rewards are worth losing all my guns. Plus I don't play enough to care what people think of my level. Tongue

True. Don't think I'll ever buy CoD again to be honest. Used to be good a few years back but nowadays the game is just filled with absolute cunts, 7 year old screamers and knobheads who think they can do 'trickshots'.

I'm defecting to the Battlefield franchise where the people who play it seem far more grown up and the game itself is more about having fun than caring about stupid stats Tongue

I love battlefield now. Although some guy threatened to break my legs earlier because I kept beating him.

I was part of a pretty cool glitching team back in the days of Halo 2. Used to spend hours trying new ways of getting outside of maps, sword lunging, etc.

My Xbox these days is sitting on my desk collecting dust. I'm far too busy with work to play stuff regularly. Still haven't bought FIFA 13 or the new Bioshock...

RE: Your gaming achievements
Well, let's see...

My best accomplishment in gaming would have to be during the Battlefield: Bad Company 1 and 2 era. They were the first Battlefield games I played, and they had me addicted instantly. Previously I'd only played the Call of Duty games as far as those kinds of games went. Around this time me and the first guys I'd been playing with on XBL decided to make a gaming clan since we operated as a squad with excessive levels of efficiency, to the point we were capable of holding our own against teams twice our size. We began to recruit members and eventually we participated in several clan tournaments, winning three out of the five we participated in over the course of two years, and we would go on to participate in two more during Bad Company 2's time. However, shortly before BFBC2: Vietnam came out, our clan started to fragment and fall apart; personal life issues claimed the two most veteran members of our clan, leaving me the nominal leader of the clan, and reducing our number from 8 to 5, when another member just plain dropped off the face of the earth after suffering a bipolar psychotic break. I tried to maintain the clan as best I could but with three of our number missing, one of whom was the singly most experienced and skilled of the clan, we just didn't have the "umph" that we once had. Said top individual came back shortly, only to declare the clan dead. He changed his name, started coming on less and less and eventually me and him just never really interacted any more. The other guy, whom I still talk with on occasion, on a whim one day decided to sell his 360 for a PS3 [and would go back and forth another five times], meaning his departure became permanent. The zeal went out, and The Doom Clan finally broke apart entirely.

I still maintain my Doom clantag name, though, in memory of a clan that once schooled on even the Army of Darkness clan like bosses.

A shame. We could've wrecked some serious shit in MLG on BF3...

Nowadays I'm affiliated, albeit loosely, with a small casual gaming clan named EzCo [E-Z Company] on BF3. I might either try to convert them to Doom 2.0 or just join and try to organize them into a more "hardcore" gaming clan.

All I know is, I loved getting $15,000 just for beating some other peoples' asses [well, it was split 8 ways but still we all got a seriously nice chunk of change for it] at a video game.

Good times...good times.

Ironically this is a point in my life where I was all but swimming in pussy. I had four fuckbuddies during this time, a stable job at Best Buy making like $12 an hour to just talk to customers and bullshit around with my co-workers [well it was more than that but that's all it felt like since I actually enjoyed working there], a steady flow of good weed...

I miss those days. Probably the highest point my life has ever been.

Meh.

Pathetic in the sense of your achievements being minimal, or pathetic in the "YOU'RE A GAMER, YOU'RE PATHETIC" kind of way? Because if it's the latter, I'd just like to point out how pathetic most sports fans are. Big Grin

Infamous achievement: I got one-shotted by a skeever in TES5.

Of course, that was after my level 7 ass barely escaped death at the hands of two spriggans and an enormous bear.
