Good. Here are parts 1 & 2
Min, can you tell me what the jist of the argument is so I don't have to watch the videos?

Your thread title is self-contradictory "excavating the empty tomb". The tomb in question was owned by Joseph of Arimathea (Luke 23:50), and was a temporary burial site, which could have been reused any number of times after Jesus.

The WIN/Gallup End of Year Survey 2013 found the US was perceived to be the greatest threat to world peace by a huge margin, with 24% of respondents fearful of the US followed by: 8% for Pakistan, and 6% for China. This was followed by 5% each for: Afghanistan, Iran, Israel, North Korea. -LINK

Is it just me or does Od-ysseus and Jesus sound similar?

From what I have gathered so far I am thinking we have an Hellenic Judea under Roman occupation trying to construct a rebel story basically saying "my god's got a bigger dick than your god"

Quite pathetic really that a whole "religion" has sprung up from it and no doubt similar literary motifs have been used in the Qur'an?

Yet you would like everyone to read the Bible. A little unfair don't you think?

I think you should take the time and watch the videos. They aren't that long and are quite informative. It's not like you are being asked to watch the entire series, although I highly recommend that also.

I don't expect anyone to read anything unless they want to discuss it. I have nothing to say about any of it as the orginator of this message is not going to be responding, I am simply asking that Minnie or whomever to spell out what they are willing or able to argue.

Conjecture and speculation based on the faith of the man who made those videos.

I'm still watching them. Far more compelling than your groveling bullshit, though.

For you I'm sure they are more compelling as these videos were made to tickle your fancy and stroke your beliefs.

...and this is why i do not waist my time watching these videos. When you take an unbaised look at odysseus you will see that he and Christ have nothing in common other than the "eus" at the end of their name.

What Anti God D-bag youtube mockumentry producers bank on is that you all will not check their facts if they place their crap in a format that you have been brain washed into accepting as always legitmate.

God: "Wake up Moses. Your work is unfinished."
Moses: "You're kidding right?"
God: "Unfortunately no. It seems my people have no problems with parables, but still take everything too literally."
Moses: "So, what's the plan?"
God: "Eleventh Commandment: Thou shalt understand what figurative language is".
