I'm at work, but of course not working. One of the perks to running the slowest store in the MA district is that I mostly just fuck around at work.

I'm currently skinning up whilst watching an episode of Star Trek Voyager.

I have been up to no good.

I have been up to sorting out my life. Being up to it does not mean I got anything done. I'm still pretty much floating around in limbo, but at least I am back here.

I started the atheist group meetings in our town and it was one of the best things I have done in a while. I started the group a while back, but I didn't have the response I am having now. I met great people and there are a lot of plans. This groups has so many ideas that I was shocked at such a great response.

I've also been spending some quality time with my bestie, beer. That never gets old, in my book.

Now I'm up to reading the threads and catching up with AF.

Mmmm beer. I wish I could have some.

I'm currently camping with my son's scout troop. No beer allowed, of course. Other than the weather, and a medical emergency, it's been going pretty well.

At the moment, there's a big problem brewing in my house, and it's either a mouse infestation or a rising case of OCD from me. On Monday night, I saw a mouse in my basement escape through a small hole. I've plugged it up, and I haven't seen it since, but I'm not so sure there aren't still some more mice hiding in the ceiling.

I really don't want to fuel your incipient OCD, but I'd bet money there are more where that one came from.

I know, man. Why do you think I'm getting OCD? I know 2 mice can easily turn into several thousand in the space of a single year. I just hope the others are staying on the outside where they belong. I'd rather end up in the bughouse than let my house turn into Hamelin.

On a good note, the closest thing I've had to evidence of a continuing infestation is something I think may just be a hallucination. I thought I may have heard mice squeaking above me. In fact, yesterday, I thought I heard squeaking from all directions. Yet, as soon as I took the change out of my pocket, it stopped. Apparently, the rubbing of the coins bounced off the ceiling and caused the sound. Also odd is I've never heard their feet scurrying up there, and when I'm down there, I can hear my Dad and my Dog's footsteps and can tell to a reasonable degree of accuracy where they are, but I can't hear these mice. It was as soon as I realised that that I realised I may have OCD.

Spent most of the past two days in bed. Tired and having stomach problems. Yesterday I was well enough to watch TV in bed, so I watched There Will Be Blood, and despite bringing back some unpleasant memories, it was fun to watch. My stomach's worse today. I put on Rampart and watched a few minutes before turning it off. I had thought today was Friday, or even Thursday, and there was a talk I really wanted to attend Saturday morning. So earlier I got up to check what day it was so that I wouldn't miss it, only to find that I'd already missed it and had lost track of time. /sigh
