They would have to be enormous to create lift for creatures as dense in build as we are. I think I'd prefer a jetpack.

Do I have to give up my arms, like a bird, or can I keep them? Are my bones going to have to be hollow? Can I keep my bladder?

If I can keep everything AND somehow have wings that could lift it all, of course I'd want them. Can they be golden-feathered?

Having wings doesn't necessarily mean flight - just ask a chicken.

They could be developed into some form of display for sexual attraction. That would be kinda cool and I could hide my growing bald patch with the feathers.

Patch isn't quite the right word anymore - helicopter pad is closer.

Then I think you should run for Overlord of the Universe. This is an excellent plank for your political platform. Can you redesign knees and make dogs live as long as their owners while you're at it?

Excellent idea - my Belgium Shepherd is the wrong side of 15 but hanging on gamely. Would be nice to rejuvenate her a little and get another 20 years.
