Global warming is caused by governments focused on stupid issues like religion, because greedy people use it to divide humanity. Scientists have been warning the planet about it for 40 years.

Christianity did not invent anything anymore than Muslims invented algebra. The capability of discovery and invention has always been a universal human trait, not due to religion, but do to evolution.

"This person/ culture was a......(insert religion here), and they invented (insert invention here) ".

We get that argument from other religions as well.

The ancient Egyptians were master builders but yet you don't believe the sun is a god.

Did I say we will discover the answer? No, that was just you projecting your inadequacies on me. We will always have gaps, as science gets increasingly esoteric the further we get. The point is that science is never content with those gaps or simply using an empty filler like goddidit.

Are you dense? People who own and run fossil fuel and natural gas companies have huge amounts of money to pump into political campaigns so they can set the laws and policies to destroy our environment for profit. Political and religious ideology are how they distract us from what they are doing.

Now again, if you are going to bash science and technology, then be consistent and get off the internet and move into the woods and live in a log cabin with no tv, no computer no car no electricity no cell phone and no doctor.

The problem isn't technology, the problem is HUMANS and greed and the refusal to understand that we do as a species have an impact on our environment. We are part of an ecosystem, not above our ecosystem.

You're missing the point.

There is no contradiction between being Christian and using a computer, however, you are the one complaining about science and its answers. If you don't like science, don't avail yourself of its benefits, which the computer happens to be.

I understand that religion gives you answers that science cannot, and that is fine. The problem is when you attack science itself and the answers it gives rather than the idea of relying solely on science for answers.
