A girl from work was wearing a shirt that read "Proud". I asked about it and she turned around to expose "to be a Christian". Everyone was like, "amen to that!" I said, "We'll, I'm proud to be an atheist." All of a sudden there was tension. Double standard.

We don't debate the existence of god - we know he's not real.
What we do debate is rational thought vs. irrational thought...

I say support his cause and buy the shirt - wear it to work.

Because when they do it, they're just practicing their religion, but if you profess your atheism, you're "shoving it down their throats."

Not so much a "disease" as a side affect of evolution. Evolution's goal is only about getting to the point of reproduction. It is not based on knowledge, just fucking.
