A pipe and a pint. After a long day of deal spotting groceries with the succubus, one pint won't be all. Sheesh. She thinks we did well, but she overlooks the cost accrued by extra gas, time, and buying stuff we don't use. The fact she spent the day yammering on speaker phone with her sister, the suddenly rich settlement check getter, just makes the day more grand.

And oh...did I mention our son has taken his wife to NYC for the weekend, along with her parents he flew in from GA, to celebrate her birthday? No? Well my wife mentioned it....ad nauseum.

Topping off my tank with a bowl of chili. Then I'll dive into a bottle of sake and the reading I have to do for tomorrow. I probably won't sleep tonight, and the sake probably won't help me stay awake, but, well, fuck it.

My Ducks did well today against the Washington Huskies, and that was fine because they are the first team that stretched the Ducks a little. Then the only team we were a leetle bit worried about, Stanford, lost to Utah -- after struggling against Washington last week. That pretty much leaves the Duckies in #1 position in the Pac-12. Crimson Tide aren't looking so hot in the SEC this year, either. Rae likey!
