I'm new to the forums so I figured I'd make a formal greeting to you all, I've liked what I've seen so far whilst lurking and joined up.

I'm a recent convert from Christianity to atheism, and can't feel better about it if I tried. I feel free from oppressive thoughts, such as "God wouldn't like that I though/did this" and so on and so forth.

I've been accused of surrendering morality for 'sin' but frankly I've been more ethical and accepting of others since breaking free of my lifelong indoctrination into Christianity.

I have what I like to think of as a good understanding of most Christian concepts and beliefs, and use these lies and fallacies of an imaginary friend against any bible beating that happens around me. Which is actually a prevalent problem where I live, right on the outskirts of the bible belt in Tennessee.
