Understood? Such certainty you have in the moment! Predicted? You mean "foretell on the basis of observation, experience, or scientific reason?" Subjective unless you intend to establish that you preceded them and then wrong. Explained them in rational terms. Subjective, assumption.

Examples? Let's have a go Smile

Understood: Whilst science certainly doesn't understand everything it certainly understands far more about the phenomena detailed in this thread than any creationist viewpoint.

Predicted: Of course, Black Holes (for example) were predicted long before any evidence of them was observed. Creationism hadn't to my knowledge, predicted them beforehand.

Explained: Science does a very good job at explaining these amazing things, that, you cannot rationally deny. Creationism only explains the ignorance of those minds that are closed to logic and reason and seek anthropic explanations for things that are outside their narrow view of reality.

A non-theistic person can still feel awe when presented with natural phenomenon, no Sunday subscription or belief in a god concept required.

This 'awe' is a very natural human response to the complexity of reality.

In other words it isn't possible that a scientist in any of the fields concerned primarily with the images given and more knowledgable than yourself in his / her field could believe in creation?

Is this as impressive as Star Trek predicting cell phones? Has science ever predicted anything wrong in your eyes? How much is now known about black holes?

Not at all.

Are you suggesting that I am an ignorant closed minded illogical person with a narrow view of reality? Because, if and when we really start to discuss my idea of creationism you might have to brush up on your Hebrew and Greek and Latin. Making some readjustments in your own thinking.

I don't believe I mentioned you at all.

Actually, I would be very interested in your view of creationism and if any readjustments in my own thinking are required then I am more than willing to make them.

I believe in creation. And am apparently religious. Wink Shades

Then we can learn from each other. In fairness and objectivity; I will try not to dismiss science out of hand.
