It didn't even have the first creation story.

Let's say we go with the popular "there had to be a beginning", and even say that Yahweh didn't need one. What now? How do we get from there picking Yahweh as the right one? Why not hinduism, possibly the oldest religion out there? Or the Babylonian religion?

People did not pick Yahweh, He has chosen them throughout history, that would be sorta like you picking your parents, you couldn't and by the way they did not pick you, they got what God gave them.
If you're going to base your assumption on Yahweh, then you have to assume that the worship of Yahweh came first, not the other religions. God being creator directed with great care through history, Christianity. It is His ultimate will.
God loves those who believe and those who do not and the same goes for me, you have no choice in this matter. That puts the matter of total free will to rest.

The biggest word in that last sentence is "If."

Even if you get that far you are down to Judaism, Christianity or Islam in chronological order.

Of course if you then choose Christianity then there is the particular flavour. How many distinct churches are there again? Thousands, aren't there?

Yeah - good luck with that.

That's like saying sooner the frog turns into a prince the better off the frog will be. Alway true in theory, never testable in practice.

Nope.

No evidence for your god. It's on an equitable status regarding it's existence to the tooth fairy.

Christianity is a story that explains how reality works within you but most people (especially Christians) don't know that or understand it yet. While everyone is ultimately going to understand this story first hand, till they do, its just a story one either believes or not. UndecidedWink

If you like esotericism, you should shed the Judeo-Christian husk and look towards the Indian subcontinent. They do it mo bettah.

Well, when the frog turns into a prince he gets to hump the princess. So...why not?

That was going to be my next response. It's actually quite a long line to get where most people are. Not to mention that, though it's claimed that Jesus served Yahweh, he definitely said things that go contrary to what Yahweh said in the old testament.
