Atheism, in my understanding, is the lack of belief in god(s), due to the fact that there is no evidence for them.

its not dishonest and atheism is only directed tot he god claims, not the spiritual. you can be "atheist" towards spiritualism but i myself believe in "spirits", and i have true video footage, no prank.
So yea, i tend to believe only what has evidence, at least now that i became an atheist.

Uh-huh. I frequently see lights in the sky to the east when I am walking my dogs at night. They are very visible low in the sky.
Oh, Sky Harbor Airport is in that direction. Coincidence?

Since you only believe in what has evidence, the OP applies directly to you, and it is intellectually dishonest to say you believe spirits but not in a god, as there is no evidence for both. If you say you have video footage of so called "spirits", I think we'd all like to see it.
And to all the other people pointing out the flaw in the OP, there have already been clarifications of the error I made in the first two pages;

Why you face palm me? Im just stating obvious. Mistaken identity and jumping to the it is a alien conclusion is why nobody will handle the topic the way it needs to handled. I'm not a tin foil hat type, far to skeptical for that.
