Why would God?
RE: Why would God?
@StoryBook, Cain married his sister, what other conclusion can you make from the scriptures. Why such silly questions, this has nothing to do with how things are in the present. No, I do not ignore the bad things in the Bible, it's just that what you see as bad is not what I know is the bad.

I disagree completely with what you say in the above, but I will respect your decision to choose God or reject Him, this is the choice you have been given.

God loves those who believe and those who do not and the same goes for me, you have no choice in this matter. That puts the matter of total free will to rest.

I did not know that you just assume so much in the bible. Is it a law that only Christians can?

One reason I chose not to believe in a god is because there is no physical evidence. And I cant believe what people just say or write down about a god in a book.

What makes you think every thing that exists must be physical? If you believe the writers are sincere does that affect your opinion about the veracity of their firsthand accounts or testimony?

Confused Fall

Yea I think to much, but never understood these.

Actually you're looking for wrong place to take answers . You cant find the answers here between willingly or unwillingly biased and prejudiced people . This will just confuse you more .
Oh...oh wait. I've seen something like this before! It's either catch 22 or irony. I can't remember. I'm still leaning toward irony. "Hey pot, this is kettle...uh, you're black!"

Chad...what is this non-physical "stuff" that you keep referring to? And why do you keep running around shifting your burden on everyone else to disprove this "stuff"? Seem a bit dishonest...

Here's the thread and post where it was last left unanswered.

Can you describe the nature of this non physical stuff and how could think apart from its physical vessel?

Open up your ear pussies, and let this truth sink into to your virgin skull. Not a one of us has ever been approached by God, formally or in any other discernible fashion. Not you, or anyone else who pretends to speak for him has ever been able to backup a single shred of the propaganda on God that you've been spewing around here and everywhere else. So, make no mistake about it, it's YOU and YOUR stupid ideas that we are rejecting. Your God is indistinguishable from fantasy, and thus cannot be directly rejected. What we reject is taking part of your bat-shit delusion. And if there is a God, and he happens to fall anywhere in line with that ridiculous book you're raving about, he too will see you as something that created barriers in people finding him believable, because you've done such a shitty job of presenting it.

Same old song, blame the Christian for doing a bad job of presenting God to others, others who know nothing about Him have no real reason to reject Him other than to satisfy their own self will are trying to dictate what Christians do. Well we actually listen to God and try to do His will, regardless of what you think about us, God must be working on you, you are fighting to hard against something for it not to exist, vn though you believe differently.

Scripture says Adam and Eve had many other children, so what other conclusion can a person come to from reading the scriptures? Why don't you tell us of the other conclusions you believe are in the scriptures?

You need to prove it is non-fiction. A mistranslated, old, rewritten book is not evidence of god. You can not be 100% positive that that book/religion is correct over all the others. You also can not be sure that the god you prey to is real and the other gods and goddesses are not.

Yes I can and do. I know without a doubt that God is real and is who He says He is, I know His word ie. Bible is trustworthy and reveals God to the world. Knowing this I trust God when He said there are no other gods, He is the only true and real God. You have a great misunderstanding of faith as many do on this forum. Faith is trusting what the real and only God says is true, knowing God is real is the only way one can come to that kind of trust.

God created such a place to punish the guilty, those guilty of sin. There has to be a balance in justice, a balance that most seem to reject and that's why many reject God. The balance is this, for those rewarded for repentance there must be punishment for those who do not. If only the reward were to be given and no punishment, then what meaning does the reward have.
God sends no one to hell, everyone who goes there has chosen to.

The God of creation, there's no other, He's the One you rebel against.

By not choosing God's gift for repentance you have chosen hell. Unforgiven sin is what places you in hell, and Christ is the only avenue to forgiveness.

Talos is the one true God.i know he is trustworthy thats how i know he is real.Your rebelling against him by creating the god of the bible in your mind.Talos is the only path to Sovngarde, by not accepting him in your heart you have chosen eternal punishment.

Thats what i heard you say GC
