Deny it all you want my friend. They are not in control of their own fate. Their fates are tied to their masters,their whole existence on the American continent is in fact, tied to the white man and so is their identity. They are the descendants of slaves, that were brought in to serve. This is why they can never be anything but slaves unless they sever their ties with their masters completely.

Well, I'd say they're right. At least it was honest, the blacks knew they were slaves, the whites knew were masters. It really didn't change anything, the blacks are still slaves, and the whites are still the masters, its just that no one is aware of this. The only thing that changed is that blacks now have to feed themselves.

Well, you can deny it all you want. The NOI had the right idea. They tried to culturally dissociate themselves from the whites by changing their religion, names and extending their heritage beyond the slavery era.
Know that they didn't come to America voluntarily, like the other immigrants, they were brought in as slaves, and were forcibly assimilated, with all their knowledge about their roots prior to slavery erased.

They became mankurts, in every sense of the world. The NOI realized that the slavery was in fact, a slavery of the mind and of the spirit of the black people in the USA, a worse condition than actual slavery I'd say.

We'll also BrokenQuill92' shall we? If she thinks the only difference between then and now is that she has to feed herself and that she's now in a worse condition than actual slavery. I mean she has first hand knowledge so I think her view would be relevant.
