Just studying and not really getting the deference between redox reactions and neutralization reactions in chemistry, meh.

Sorry, my best friend is the chemist, not me. I have nothing to offer.
Icing my knees and ankles after overdoing on my morning run. Supposed to do 5 miles, accidentally did 6. Also, my lower back hurts like a son of a bitch.
Teenaged X-Files obsession + Bermuda Triangle episode + Self-led school research project = Atheist.

Watching the Daytona 500, which is finally green after some wacky weather. Danica leads.
Digesting some angelhair pasta and multigrain toast with hummus.

Redox = two half reactions (reduction and oxidation) where the oxidation state of the atoms changes (electron transfer). So: H(2) + F(2) --> 2HF Where the reduction reaction = F(2) + 2e(-) --> 2F(-) And the oxidation reaction = H(2) --> 2H(+) + 2e(-) Neutralization = when an acid and a base mix to form a salt and water. So BaOH + HCl --> BaCl + H20

Oh! Let me dust off mine!!! Hydrogen has an atomic number of 1..... Oh and I myspaced the cute guy in the front row and totally went out with him once. Wondering what the hell I'm doing here. I'm getting ready for bed, preparing for the week ahead. Life has been a bit stressful. I hope this week is bearable. Or better than bearable, that would be great. Have a good week, all!
