Aw man, I hate when I accidentally run 6 miles.

Redox = two half reactions (reduction and oxidation) where the oxidation state of the atoms changes (electron transfer).
So: H(2) + F(2) --> 2HF
Where the reduction reaction = F(2) + 2e(-) --> 2F(-)
And the oxidation reaction = H(2) --> 2H(+) + 2e(-)

Neutralization = when an acid and a base mix to form a salt and water.
So BaOH + HCl --> BaCl + H20
