I know a lot of Americans who lived in Jeddah and a few who lived in Riyadh in the late 1970s and early 1980s. The only guy who ever had a problem was involved in a fatal car accident where the person he struck died. He eventually paid his way out of it. Everyone else didn't have any problems at all. It may be different now but I haven't read about any problems.

Yes, the horrible islamic countries, where they worship the same deity as christians do, and run a theocracy like some christians over here would like. I summarized my position in post #344 after his farcical response to me that managed to combine insult, assumption, back-tracking on an offer made with showing how much he, and his God, really care about humanity.
