I had a Dark and Stormy last night for the first time. I was in Vegas at the Cosmopolitan at this little place (called Comme Ca) where they make their own ginger beer and candied ginger. It was delicious!

CD, you are so right about American Beer being just terrible.
I was in KC Mo last week, and had Boulevard's 'The Sixth Glass' Quadrupel Ale. It was so good terrible it almost made me cry. By far the best worst beer I've ever had. And the name of the beer is from Hans Christian Andersen's 'The Watchmen of the Tower.' Possibly the best named beer of all time. Quote:"In the sixth glass sits the Devil himself; he is a little well-dressed man, most charming and pleasant. He understands you and agrees with everything you say. He even brings a lamp to light your way--not to your home, but to his. There is an old legend about a saint who was ordered to experience one of the seven deadly sins. He decided that drunkenness was the least of them. But as soon as he got drunk, then he committed the other six sins. In the sixth glass the Devil and man mix blood; in that thrives everything evil within us, and it grows like the grain of mustard in the Bible until it becomes a tree so large that it shades our whole world. Then we are fit for nothing but to be melted down again.
"There remain four irreducible objections to religious faith: that it wholly misrepresents the origins of man and the cosmos, that because of this original error it manages to combine the maximum servility with the maximum of solipsism, that it is both the result and the cause of dangerous sexual repression, and that it is ultimately grounded on wish-thinking." ~Christopher Hitchens, god is not Great

It's my favourite dark rum based drunk if I'm honest. They are very refreshing on a warm sunny day. Love atheistforums.org? Consider becoming a patreon and helping towards our server costs.
I do not drink alcohol at all, but I might have to start with this crazy job of mines!

Delicious, easy drinking - and 14% alcohol. I'm no stranger to strong beer but this stuff goes down so easy.
