You don't get to expect the respectful tone of a formal debate while refusing to shoulder the responsibilities or expectations of respectful content that such a debate brings with it, Rev.

And as I've said, I am happy to debate you in a formal setting, if that's what you wish this to progress as. Angel Cloud

Please respond to this, Rev. It seems to be everything you're asking for. Less responses, more formal setting...

The task at hand is Argument #2.

Why not combine the tasks? Argument #2 can be your debate topic with Esq.

Or are you not actually interested in doing anything other than presenting a topic, evading everything substantial, and then declaring yourself the winner?
"There remain four irreducible objections to religious faith: that it wholly misrepresents the origins of man and the cosmos, that because of this original error it manages to combine the maximum servility with the maximum of solipsism, that it is both the result and the cause of dangerous sexual repression, and that it is ultimately grounded on wish-thinking." ~Christopher Hitchens, god is not Great

That would require multitasking.
At the age of five, Skagra decided emphatically that God did not exist.  This revelation tends to make most people in the universe who have it react in one of two ways - with relief or with despair.  Only Skagra responded to it by thinking, 'Wait a second.  That means there's a situation vacant.'

The rules apply to everyone equally, not just the resident martyrs with chips on their shoulders, grapes to sour and axes to grind.

And we don't have all that many rules anyway. Mostly it's just common sense and courtesy.

There are several ways.

1. Become an good poster and earn the respect of the membership.
2. Wait until a position becomes available and apply for it, assuming you've achieved 1., above.
3. Blackmail
4. Bribery

The latter two are difficult as their price is high (I've tried) and it's hard to get incriminating/embarrasing pictures of the staff.

Angel

You left out assassination. That's how I got in.

I've always laughed at that mentality.

"Your rules discriminate against me!"

"They apply equally to everyone."

"But that's not fair. What did I do?"

"WTF"?

I do not want to debate Esq. I would like to appeal to the masses. For people to turn to the Lord before it is too late.

The masses do not find preaching appealing.
