Wouldn't the best thing be to just use a trusted religion as our moral guide on rape???
Certainly the Religion of Peace has some helpful things to say on the matter. Islam Wrote:Bukhari (5:59:462) - The background for the Qur'anic requirement of four witnesses to adultery. Muhammad's favorite wife, Aisha, was accused of cheating [on her polygamous husband]. Three witnesses corroborated the event, but Muhammad apparently did not want to believe it, and so established the arbitrary rule that four witnesses are required. I'm so glad we have the high ethical standards and divine moral teachings of ancient primitives to guide us through these difficult matters.
Anyone who did not check "the rapist" needs to have his/her moral compass adjusted.
Anyone who checked "dressing provocatively" is a fucking arsehole.

Considering who put the poll up, wording of OP and the general mood of the thread afterwards, I don't think all answers here are meant to be serious answers.

The OP doesn't look like a joke to me. And the subject is no laughing matter. So, there's that.

1. The OP clearly conflates multiple issues, making use of sarcasm.
2. Said OP kudoses distinctly unserious replies, participates with then in apparent good humor 3. People can make light of guns, rape I'm confused by your position - clarify? Slave to the Patriarchy no more
