And if you are wrong , eternity is a long time.

I'm not someone prone to taking unusual risks ;but for me, deciding to believe and accept theistic teachings, which may have beneficial eternal consequences for the acceptee; or to deny these teachings ,which may only offer some vain ,arbitrary and short lived pleasures ,but could lead to an eternity of pain, and misery, is an easy decision to make.
I'm not a gambler ,but the cost benefit ratio is on the side of the believer
who risks nothing but gives up disease ,alcoholism, crime and early death
and could pssibly gain eternal life in a state of bliss.
If ,you're wrong ,all you gain is some guilty pleasures and lose an eternity.
If I'm right I give up vice and crime and perversions but gain an eternity .
its a no brainer ,except for those with no brains
I just finished reading the RULES ..and this could get me banned.. so here's your big chance to get me dumped. start complaining now ..

I'm not even going to spell it out for you. Take 30 seconds and actually think about Pascal's Wager, and then play the "How Many Holes in this Reasoning Can You Find Game." Fuck's sake!

I hope Odin kicks your ass when you show up in Valhalla without your sword.

How did I know pascals wager was coming from this guy?
'The more I learn about people the more I like my dog'- Mark Twain
'You can have all the faith you want in spirits, and the afterlife, and heaven and hell, but when it comes to this world, don't be an idiot. Cause you can tell me you put your faith in God to put you through the day, but when it comes time to cross the road, I know you look both ways.' - Dr House
“Young earth creationism is essentially the position that all of modern science, 90% of living scientists and 98% of living biologists, all major university biology departments, every major science journal, the American Academy of Sciences, and every major science organization in the world, are all wrong regarding the origins and development of life….but one particular tribe of uneducated, bronze aged, goat herders got it exactly right.” - Chuck Easttom
"If my good friend Doctor Gasparri speaks badly of my mother, he can expect to get punched.....You cannot provoke. You cannot insult the faith of others. You cannot make fun of the faith of others. There is a limit." - Pope Francis on freedom of speech

It's impossible to believe in God via pascals razor. You can't coherently believe "there is a God" just because "if I don't, I might burn forever". Your belief in God then is only as strong as the chances you believe you will suffer everlasting torment if you don't believe in God. The chances of that being true based on all you know are at best 50/50 which is the state of agnosticism. This means that for all you know, God existing is a 50/50 chance but then you say from that we should have full blown belief in God. But to believe something is true, you need reasons that support the truth of that something. You can't believe something is true while recognizing that you have no good reasons to believe it is true. Belief can't be stronger than the reasons that support a belief. "There's actually a 50% chance God exists, but I believe 100% God exists" is an incoherent belief.
My ignore list
"The lord doesn't work in mysterious ways, but in ways that are indistinguishable from his nonexistence."
-- George Yorgo Veenhuyzen quoted by John W. Loftus in The End of Christianity (p. 103).
