Why the stigma with Pantheism?

It means there is something so big that we will never know it completely, its to be humble towards it all, its a mystery that our puny minds will never know of.

To me the g-word is a metaphor for the consciousness of the big picture. It's important to be conscious of the big picture. It's a valuable point of reference. I recognize mass psychology as the behavior of one character. The big picture also reveals that we are intuitively turning the planet into a cyborg at a rapid pace. And the galaxy is next. The only question is sustainability. That's where morality comes in.

Quote:"A star died, so you can exist" is not disputable.
Yeah, it is, but one thing it's not - is pantheism. You're going to need better "scientific logic" round these parts.
I am the Infantry. I am my country’s strength in war, her deterrent in peace. I am the heart of the fight… wherever, whenever. I carry America’s faith and honor against her enemies. I am the Queen of Battle. I am what my country expects me to be, the best trained Soldier in the world. In the race for victory, I am swift, determined, and courageous, armed with a fierce will to win. Never will I fail my country’s trust. Always I fight on…through the foe, to the objective, to triumph overall. If necessary, I will fight to my death. By my steadfast courage, I have won more than 200 years of freedom. I yield not to weakness, to hunger, to cowardice, to fatigue, to superior odds, For I am mentally tough, physically strong, and morally straight. I forsake not, my country, my mission, my comrades, my sacred duty. I am relentless. I am always there, now and forever. I AM THE INFANTRY! FOLLOW ME!

What about what is disputable? Don't we share common DNA with a blade of grass? Is there any evidence to the contrary about anything I said? I mean this sincerely.

Mostly your wording. No star died -so- I could exist.

The problem lies with the word "so". A star died because it died. Not so that you can live. You live because condition existed for you to live. Not because a star sacrificed itself to make the condition exist.

"So" implies intent and purpose. This is where theism creeps into pantheism and prys it away from a rigorous view of reality and into something ultimately no better than another wish thinking theism.
