I have seen this not work out so well with friends of mine who ask men out. The men interpret the women (in these cases) to be easy. Not sexually easy, but they don't feel like they need to do much in the relationship.

As for me...if I'm honest, it's residue from Christianity. Women are to be submissive. I'm not submissive but think that "idea" is still remaining from my religious days.
