What's your favorite flower
|
The ones that are pretty to look at.
This weekend is the carnival of flowers where I live. I might borrow a camera and try to get some pics of it on here.
This is hot! The flower is the (female) plant's reproductive organ
#1) Cannabis Sativa. #2) Dandelion.
Coffea, no coffea flower, no coffee beans ...

I've only been to an orchid show. Just lovely. (September 6, 2014 at 9:46 pm)ShaMan Wrote: #2) Dandelion. The dandelion is such an underrated flower. I have a nice b&w shot of one of those poofy things they produce. I'll find it later when I'm back on the laptop.

So I couldn't find the photo on my laptop. I swore that I scanned that roll of film but I guess I didn't. But I found a 12x16" print so I managed to get a picture of it. Not quite what I wanted to show you but you get the idea.
I was on a walk through the woods behind the village I lived at last year and it was mid-morning and I liked the way the sun was coming through the trees and I got this shot.

Roses. Got 30 of them. I mean, bushes not blooms. Bit prickly though.
I've always been somewhat fond of Necropostus Forumnae. I wasn't able to locate any pics, but these particular blossoms seem to be popping up a lot lately.
