I like jokes that are funny. I like dark humor. I think context is important. Like if it's a joke thread then you know people are joking and it's funny. Or if it's a comedy show then yea. Jewish people telling Jewish jokes is fine, there were plenty of Jews at the school I went to and the jokes were OK. Gay people telling gay jokes, black people calling each other the 'n' word, that's all OK. It's when others do it with malicious intent or even without thinking that it becomes insulting. The best thing would be to stay away from it.

I have to disagree with you here. Funny jokes are always funny so long as they're not told with a malicious intent. And calling someone "nigger" or "nigga" is always stupid even if you're black.

I gotta agree with Losty here. Next time you see a big name comedian (Louis CK, Chris Rock, Ricky Gervais) take a look around at the audience-- all walks of life that paid money and wanted to hear one type of guy say things.

Even if, he did so in such a way that suggests that a few atheists cracking bad jokes puts us on the level of a religion that institutionalizes hate, violence towards and legal discrimination against that group of people. A group of people that sits here and complains that they can't "oppose" being gay. A group of people who imply a drug habit when you attempt to explain basic human empathy to them, because it's a concept apparently far beyond their ability to comprehend.
